Agrigate, the joint venture between Fonterra Farm Source and LIC, combines key data (including MetService weather) in an online dashboard that helps farmers make faster and smarter decisions.
MetService and BloomSky are piloting a trial for Fonterra of the STORM and SKY2 smart weather camera systems. Every 5 minutes the devices transmit temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and rainfall data to a laptop, tablet or smartphone accompanied by high-definition photographs from the farm.
