MetraWeather - a world-class provider of weather products and services for the Energy, Media, Resources, Infrastructure and Retail industries - is proud to announce the opening of its new Sydney office in St Leonards.
The move from Pymble to St Leonards paves the way for MetraWeather’s growth plans for the Australian and Asian regions. The company has recently signed two major contracts, expanding its presence in media and industry.
MetraWeather now works with Delta Electricity, providing them with a suite of world-class weather products and services. MetraWeather has also picked up the contract to provide its Weatherscape XT weather graphics to Channel 10.
MetraWeather already provides weather graphics to Australia’s Weather Channel, and channels 7 and 9. The company now provides this service to over 100 systems around the world, including Britain’s BBC, China’s Phoenix TV and the Philippines’ TV5.
MetraWeather General Manager, Sales ANZ James Luffman said the move complemented the company’s ambitions nicely.
“By moving to St Leonards we’re getting closer to the weather, literally – our new office gives us amazing sky views, which we hope will inspire our team to achieve even more success.”
The new office will be opened by MetService CEO Peter Lennox on Thursday, 9 August.
MetraWeather is the international commercial brand of the Meteorological Service of New Zealand and uses many delivery mechanisms in a variety of formats and graphics to provide weather products and services for the Energy, Media, Resources, Infrastructure and Retail industries.
